USDT TRC20 is Tether's USDT stablecoin issued on the TRON network under the TRC20 token standard. It is the same dollar-pegged asset as USDT on Ethereum (ERC20), but it runs on the TRON blockchain — meaning all transactions settle directly on TRON, using TRON addresses and consuming TRON network resources. Tether began issuing USDT on TRON in 2019, and it quickly became the dominant version by volume.
